What The God Foundation is...
The GOD Foundation is a nonprofit, grant-making public charity whose purpose is to provide scholarships, psycho-educational services, professional development trainings, and meet renovation needs to the Corozal Community Center in Belize for charitable purposes constituting women and children affected by trauma and addiction. The acronym GOD stands for Gracefully Offering Discipleship. The organization of this help shall be Godly, biblical, and holistic. We place our hope and trust solely in Jesus Christ and with repentance of all sins, depend on God's grace for forgiveness as the Holy Spirit guides us through the renewal of mind, body, and spirit by devoting our lives to sharing the love and promises of God's truth written in the Bible and ultimately penned on our hearts.
Our Inspiration...
Matthew 28:18-20 (NLT) records these words of Jesus, "I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."
No matter what we are designed to do, when we use the authority of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit gives us the courage to go into the world and bring His children home. We do this by being obedient to His voice and through faith we build trust as we experience His presence daily.
Mark 5:34 (NIV) records these words of Jesus, "Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering."
These words of encouragement speak directly to the hearts of women. It is our faith that heals us from the brokenness within. It is the peace we experience that renews our minds from believing the lies we've been told. It is through the experience of God's Truth that shows us we do not have to suffer anymore.

How We Give Back...
At The GOD Foundation, we believe all donations given to us are actually donations given to God's Greater Good, and His purposes for the people of Belize who we have partnered with that have been established and built on His foundational love. We work in partnership with other nonprofit organizations and businesses and do not receive government funding. Therefore, the success of these organizations give glory to God and God alone.
1 Corinthians 10:31 says, "So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
We appreciate and recognize the hard work each individual puts in to making these organizations a success, and it is with this understanding that we are able to continue to support those in need.
